Fairborn History
This is a city in Greene Country, Ohio in United States near Dayton and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The name came from portmanteau word created from the two merged village Fairfield and Osborn after the Great Dayton Flood in 1913. This is the home of Wright State University that serves 20,000 undergraduate and graduate students. It has the disaster training facility named Calamityville.
